Terms of use
§1 Area of application
- The terms of use are applicable for all relations between dans.events (“Platform”) and its users and partners (“Users”), including, but not limited to, organizers of events (“Organizer”), private users, musicians and photographers and dance teams.
- The terms of use also apply for any relations between Organizers selling event tickets or services and purchasing Customers, if their interaction is through the Platform.
§2 Results of violating the terms of use
Users in violation of the terms of use are given a warning with a limited time to fix the offending content. The page displaying offending contents is not available until the content has been adjusted. Should the User repeatedly be in violation of the terms of use, their account may be suspended immediately and permanently, possibly losing access to their events, tickets, payments and anything else that is related to their account.
§3 Strictly Forbidden Content
Users may not create or share any content, on the Platform itself or through external links, if any of the following applies:
- Content that advertises, shows or encourages discrimination, violence, self-harm, hate or crime
- Content that is meant to harm others, no matter if they are present on the Platform or not
- Sexual content
- Copyrighted or intellectual content of others without their consent
- False or misleading content
- Religious or political content
- Impersonation of others
- Fraud
- Spam and advertising
§4 Events and Tickets
- Organizers, which may be a natural or juristical person, may use the Platform to provide information about their own events or events for which they specifically got permission of the events owner to do so. Information includes, but is not limited to, descriptions, artists, time and location of the event and ticket information.
- Organizers are responsible for the realization of events in accordance to the information they provided.
- Tickets are sold by the Organizer, the Platform acts as a mediator. Refunds, complaints and disputes are to be handled by the User and Organizer.
- Organizers are responsible for ticket refunds. The ticket price is refunded, excluding the Platforms fee.
- Tickets are delivered digitally, through email or as a download.
- Users purchasing a ticket agree to the terms of use of the organizer and their event. This may include photos being taken at the event.
- Tickets may only be bought with the intent to visit the event.
- When purchasing a ticket, the name given on the ticket is passed to the organizer, allowing them to create a guest list. The guest list may be used at admission control.
Passing on tickets
- When purchasing a ticket, the buyers name(s) must be provided during checkout.
- Tickets are only valid for the person(s) named on the ticket.
- Tickets may be transferred to other persons through the Platform. Transferring a ticket may include additional costs/fees, to prevent scalping (buying tickets not with the intent to visit the event but to sell them for a higher price later).
- Tickets cannot be transferred outside of the Platform.
Prices and Payments
- Prices consist of the items price plus a platform fee.

- The item prices may include taxes payed by the Organizer
- The platform fee may include taxes payed by the Platform
- Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Irland.
- The available payment methods may vary based on your location. Available payment methods are shown during checkout and may include their own terms of use. You may find these terms of use at Stripe.
- Payment information, like credit card or bank account numbers, are never visible to the Platform and are stored securely by Stripe.

For Users selling services or tickets (“Vendors”) on the Platform, a Stripe account is required.
Users buying services or items do not require such an account.
- A Stripe account includes a digital bank account.
- The Stripe account can be created from the account settings.
- The Stripe account is automatically created with the email address of your Platform account.
- Account onboarding is handled by Stripe and all personal information will be stored by Stripe, not by the Platform.
- The created Stripe account is linked to the Platforms Stripe account to allow the Platform to interact with the account directly. This is primarily used to allow the Platform to collect payments and send them to the vendors account as well as collecting the platform fee.
- Any payment refunds or disputes are to be handled by the vendor.
- Stripe and the selected payment method may both take fees for each transaction. The fees are deducted from the vendors account and may vary based on selected payment method and payment currency.
Delivery
Tickets are delivered online through email or as a download. They are delivered as soon as the payment is completed.
